Back in December I came across a little "contest" (I put that in quotations because it wasn't one of those contests that has winners and losers), the goal of which was to redesign/create a brand new logo and uniform set for the Portland Trailblazers. The contest was held by Paul Lukas of Uni-Watch, and lucky for me he included my submission in his article for ESPN.
I thought I would post my submission here for the hell of it, so check it out under these words, but also be sure to check out the real article here. Most of the other submissions took what was already there, in terms of the current Blazers design & logo, and made some simple yet effective changes. As you can see, my inspiration came from the official flag for Portland Oregon, which made the change from the original uniform pretty drastic. As Paul Lukas pointed out in his article, it looks a bit more appropriate for the Sonics (RIP).

NOTE: Checking out the uniforms through the ESPN article will allow you to enlarge the image.
